It is April 20th and Mike O'Neil is preparing for his trip North from Washington State to the Kenai Peninsula. His thoughts as they always do bring up memeories of Merle Sasser a cagey old Okie who had once told him he had caught a fish that had been hooked so many times he sold it for scrap metal! Merle always had the best and the biggest fish stories, but his smile always belied his indescrtion.

Fishing on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaskan paradise is like no experience you will ever have. The Salmon are bigger and stronger than anywhere else in the world. The halibut are strong and full of fight. And the trophy sized rainbow trout will play the fisherman as much as they will play him.

With over 80 years of fishing guide experience in the family, the O'Neil's know this to be true. "The thing that sets us apart", Mike said when recently asked, "is our competitors can provide you their experience fishing. We provide you a fishing experience."

It's now September and Mike's thought return to Merle as he returns to Washington. Mike had got one over on him. The best fish story Merle ever told wasn't even a lie!
